N'Orlean's Metairie Cemetery

The second in my series of travel posters, this time for New Orleans. For those who didn't see my previous deviation, the project was to create posters for various cities based on a specific theme; in my case, cemeteries. So here we have New Orlean's Metairie cemetery. Typically, when people think of the big tombs and graves in New Orlean's cemeteries, they're thinking of this place.
In this image maybe more than some of the others there's a certain amount of negative space that I feel I should speak for. These posters also had a text element, which I've omitted from these pictures. The text was entirely gibberish, just a paragraph of Loren Ipsum used to hold a place for potential future copy editing, as well as a spot for the name of the city itself. Rendered with Chartpak AD markers, pencil crayons and chalf pastels, with minor retouches in photoshop, mostly just for color correction.
The original images in this composition were found mostly online and used without permission from the respective sources, though used with malicious intent. The composition is my own.
